Default Question about lids(not which is best)

I have a 2002 Camaro and I'm going to be removing the A.I.R system when I install my headers which will be as soon as the weather clears up a bit. So my question is can I order a Lid for 98-99 since they already come plugged up or is hunting down a plug for a 00-02 lid my only option.

Order the 98-99. The lid is exactly the same besides the fitting for the AIR hose

Exactly.

It comes with a flush mounted plug already so you don't have to worry about that wart sticking out the side.

Default Lids

The only aftermarket lids that have the AIR fitting on them for the 00-02 cars are the SLP ones. All the other lids (including the ones we make), do not have provisions for the AIR fitting. Instead we sell a little K&N breather filter that attaches to the stock rubber AIR fitting hose.

You can check out all the lids we sell on our web site.

That what I use on my lid (02SS). Doesn't look bad at all.

I see what Fast Toys is saying but I guess im a little confused, so when I remove the A.I.R system this A.IR. tube going to the lid is removed as well right? So then even If I get a Fast Toys lid I wont need a breather?
