Default If you have true duals dumped at the axle

Just an FYI for everyone with true duals dumped at the axle, I ran mine like this for a week and the in-car vibration and noise was terrible. I had it ran under the axle and out the back and it made a world of difference. Not only did it get rid of most of the interior noise, it has a much deeper tone to it. I have 3" pipe and the ground clerance is more than enough to go under the axle, just a little info I wanted to share.........

I just put on my 2.5 true duals with X Pipe that dump before the axle with Moroso spiral flow mufflers today and my interior drone is not bad at all. I do plan to go over the axle soon though.

i know what you're saying. i'm running my duals out the back and using some dynomax ultraflow mufflers. it's gonna be quiet now . with them dumped at the axle it is just too loud inside the car. can't use the phone or have a normal conversation. i'm allways saying, "huh?"

Lynda did you still want to get together? I would love to check out your true duals setup. I'm thinking about switching over myself.

I had 3 inch true duals with X pipe and Spintech race mufflers that dumped at the axle. It was so loud inside the car I couldn't even hear all the rattles. I had my setup redone to 2.5 inch duals with H pipe and Dynomax muff's.that dumps at the axle. It's very quiet now. Almost stock quiet.

on my chevelle i have a torque tech set up 2' primary and 3.5' collector hookers,no H or X pipe..2 40 series Flowmasters and dumps.....with the .550 lift cam it gets down right obnoxious in there i'm having tailpipes put on in the spring...but i hate the way they exit out the back..i'll have to check out other options...
