Yea, they will quiet it down some and reduce the rasp which is why a lot of people that run cats run them.

I bought my car with a hooker ory but had to weld cats in to pass inspection in my state. With the ory the exhaust had alot of rasp. After the magnaflow hi flow cats it now has zero rasp. It actually sounds alot better without the rasp its just that its so quiet now Im considering getting a cutout.

Absolutely. With the cats the car will actually sound civilized. It can still sound mean depending on your catback/manifold setup but no matter what you do it will be quiet at idle/cruise. In other words, if you want people to be able to hear your car 5 blocks away that won't happen with cats.

Yes cats will tone down the car but it depends on what cat-back is behind them. The GMMG and LM systems are still loud with cats. On the other hand my buddy has hooker/lts/ory and mine is much louder. Cats def give a more modern sound to an exhaust. Personally my set up with cats sounds much better than with out.

It will be considerably more quiet with hi-flow cats (as compared to an ORY). Removing the cats is the equivalent of turning up the volume **** on your exhaust. The only trade off is that you have to find a way to counter rasp -- that can be done with the right cat back exhaust or by adjusting the butterfly valve on an electronic cutout (not fully open).

^Midnight honestly Corsa is pretty loud. Loudest IMO in this order: LM1, GMMG, Borla, Corsa. Thats with out without cats. All of these setups get annoying without cats. Highway drone and rasp. The last thing I want to hear is rasp like a Honda Civic with a fart can.

haha i hear ya, i just had borla on here before i put the Corsa, and i can def say the Borla was a tad louder than the corsa i think when crusing around, with the catted y, both sounds mean under WOT, really curious to see how the Corsa is gonna sound without the meows lol, i had borla with and ofr y on my other car and it sounded amazing, looking for this to do the same hopefully
