Kinda been thinking bout changing my mind and selling the cam & spring kit & doin bolt ons first, if not bolt ons ill buy another motor to sit on the engine stand....i have a friend that will sell me a complete ls1 98-00 with roun 60k miles on it for $1000, and i can get a shortblock 6.0 for between 500-600

it was a 5.3 in the car. Im currently getting ready to swap a 6.0 in it

but why??? i mean this is just my opinion (and i know opinions are like ******** everyone has them) but if your 5.3 runs good and you already have the parts, i would use them the bolt ons will be there as you can afford them. save the 6.0 and build that bad boy!!! lol. but good luck with what ever your preferred path is!

For the money you spend on the 6.0 and doing the H/C you could have put a turbo on the 5.3 and made more power. Just sayin'...

didnt wanna have to deal with a turbo on a daily driver. ill procharge it later on down the road
