Default Exhaust question - I searched

So I searched but still can't find an answer.

Im looking at changing my exhaust set up.
I was looking at maybe tsp true duals, but I can't figure out if it attaches straight to the lt's? Is there anything else in between?

Also, has any just used a H or X pipe with a straight muffler on each end and then dumped before the axle? Could that work or would it be to long?

i did look through there, but it is a 50 page thread. It looks like from what i can tell, tep true duals mount straight on the headers, but i wanted to be 100% sure before deciding to order anything.

As long as you have LT headers, they slip right on and come with everything needed for install.

awesome, that what I thought but wanted to make sure. I already have LTs but they are some cheap/crappy ones that were already installed when I bought the car. I wanna switch to some nice 1 7/8's and do the duals at the same time

anyone have input on the whole torque arm thing. whats the easiest/least expensive set up to run TSP duals?

With your "cheap, crappy" headers, you may have to do some modifications. They are made to hook up to tsp, jet hot's and hookers I believe.

The stock torque arm will clear the duals fine.

And Pacesetters.

Sounds like you might have the eBay's... wasn't aware of that. I have no idea if they'll fit or not.

Gotcha on The tsp headers...good choice.

My tsp duals cleared the stock torque arm just fine. Only made contact with the car on a lift and the suspension totally unloaded.

Keep in mind, they are not simply bolt on and go. To get the great ground clearance and fitnemt I did, it took some trial and error. Nothing hard tho just tweaking of hangars, clamps and positioning.
