FTP 98MM lid and SS hood will not close?

Default FTP 98MM lid and SS hood will not close?

Whats does it take to make this lid work on a oem ss hood any one had this problem before i bought it off a ram air and it was rubbing pretty bad even on that hood

I believe ppl cut the under part of the hood to make it fit. But dont quote me. I know for sure some trim off a bit for a free mod but not sure how much.

im actually trying to sell the hood if i dont get it sold ill make a pin on out it!!

Try adjusting the couplers to see if can get it to recess further back I'm not sure exactly the problem if you could get pics it would def help

I've got a 2002 Z/28 and am wondering if anyone has had fitment issues with a Z/28 hood.

Im going to mess with it some more i put some grease on the high spots to see where it was hitting and its hitting same place all lids hit so i crossed my fingers and shut it hard and it was fine but for piece of mind im going to try to adjust more
