I recently went with taller valve covers and still plan to keep my coils on top of the valve covers. The new MSD "LS1 Style" wires I bought are a tad to short so I am going to custom taylor a set for myself. Looking to order a kit and I cant tell the differance between the MSD 31189 or 31199 kit. Which would I use in this case? I assume the 31199 because we dont have a "CAP".

Y0u need these 45* boots for the coil ends.

I cant seem to find a kit with the 45 degree boots. Do I have to order a standard kit and add the boots?

 

31189 is a mulit angle boot, they can be bent from straight,45* or 90*. the 31199 are either straight or 90* only

get the 31189, nothing else needed

 

31189 will work with taller valve covers or 1/2" spacers?
