I gained 6hp and 9ftlbs opening my cutout vs going through the borla wide open plate. I won't have LT's for a week or so. I can't comment on how much of a power difference there would be with them. mods in sig

No dyno nummbers. But with my cutouts open it is a very noticeable difference through the rpm range. Some say 10hp is the minimum you notice. Power starts at a lower rpm and pulls to a higher rpm.
I have them right behind the headers so it might be a little different depending upon your placement.

The gains will vary depending on the exhaust setup and actual HP the engine makes. I have seen 0-25 rwhp on different combo's.
I have dual DMH 3" on my 04 GTO and seen 2 rwhp. They sure sound wicked though and are a good way to scare some people

I would say if your running everything factory after the Y-pipe that you would notice a gain from going to a cutout. That is where mine is, in the I-pipe. I was surprised to see 6hp honestly. Figured the wide open plate on the Borla was pretty good.
