Default Quick Question Headers install

What spark plugs should I get since im already going to be in there during the headers install. Also im keeping my egr and air so the plates that youre supposer to make/buy that reduce the flow on the egr, how big is the hole supposed to be that you've got to drill. any info would be appreciated. also can someone double check my list and make sure that ive got everything I need.

Headers
Y pipe
O2 extensions
Gaskets
Clamps for exhuast
Jacks
Jack Stands
Motor Mounts
anti seize
kroil / pb blaster

I am getting race headers on mine so no EGR or AIR, can't help you there.

If you're just doing bolt-ons right now, no nitrous, go with NGK V-Power TR55's. Those are what everyone suggests. I got 8 TR55 plugs at Advanced Auto for $20.27 after tax. The part number for them is NGK 3951.

It says they don't fit the car but you can ignore that. Everyone uses them.

I run the NGK TR55 plugs. Had good luck with them. Might wanna check the gaps on them.

Yeah I should be getting it done on Friday. I have a buddy from Laurel helping out since he's done a couple header installs. I'm completely removing AIR and EGR and I'm doing poly motor mounts at the same time as the headers. Good thing about getting the "race" style headers is that I didn't need any block off plates for the exhaust, just a delete plug for the EGR on the LS1 intake manifold since mine is a '99 model year.
