Default How loud would this be ?

The set up I'm planning on consists of :

Long tube headers 3in collectors
3inch exhaust all the way
xpipe
(2) 3inch sweet thunder mufflers
CME Tips

Would this be a good set up and what type of sound would I expect ? Would it be to loud for the street ?

Hell yea! I'd hear you from here!

Try it and see, it's only too loud when it becomes obnoxious & the tone is wrong or to much cackle 'rasp'

Yea I agree this is going to be a weekend car so you want to be able to hear it.
How would this compare to a true dual 2.5 exhaust with two 40 series flow-masters ?

Only your guys that run that can tell you that. Best bet is to listen to sound clips of cars exhaust, then take a punt. G L

I have LT headers to a x pipe and dynomax mufflers with out cats dumped before the axle. No rasp at all but its pretty damn loud when you get on it. Sounds good at idle though. My neighbors have already call the cops on me about it.

Are you putting this one a v6 or v8?

Thanks man and my exhaust is going to come out the back so hopefully it will be less drone. I was debating sweet thunders or slp resonators.

Its going on a 70 camaro with a 355 Its not an ls engine but I figured here would be the best place to ask.
