I've waited in line on two separate occasions to purchase these. Both times they ended up getting delayed several times. Ended up buying a used set of Kooks 1 7/8 for $500 and a new set of the Edelbrock stepped headers for $310

they had a shipment coming to them last friday when I talked to them on wednesday that week. I'm guessing they're having some issues with shipping or manufacturing. Fortunately for me I got to buy a set from a member here that wasn't using them actually ups says they're out for delivery right now X_X

Just seems like deja vu all over again imo. First delivery date pushed back, second pushed back, third... I'm not saying they don't produce a quality header, but they clearly don't have enough supply for the demand.

Spend the extra money on some Kooks through Marylandspeed. The TSP from what I have heard have multiple fitment issues. Who knows if they will return for sale.

$869 vs $499. For nearly $400, I'll wait and BFH if needed.

Hope some arrive before my income tax comes in. That will be the last thing on my list to get done.

Based on the interest, they will sell out their next shipment almost as fast as they get them in.

You'd be shocked at the price Maryland Speed can get you on Kooks headers. I ordered TSP's 1 7/8" headers back in November after being told they were in stock... only to find out they weren't. I waited and waited and then finally gave up. I cancelled my order, and got my money refunded. I called Maryland Speed about their Kooks 1 7/8" headers since they will not discuss their pricing online or via email, and months later, I'm STILL blown away at the price. 10 minutes after sending payment, I had shipping information. In stock, shipped right away, UNBEATABLE pricing. Yeah, I spoke with two other vendors before calling Maryland Speed because I'm lazy and hate calling sales people to make orders... well I'm sure glad I called. I'm not joking when I say they didn't just beat the other vendors, they DESTROYED them. If you're tired of waiting for Texas Speed's headers to come in... call Maryland Speed and just inquire about Kooks. I'll bet good money you'll be mightily impressed.

Thank you Maryland Speed. Good luck to the OP. I have seen TSP's 1 7/8" headers and they are gorgeous and obviously a proven performer. I guess I just ran out of patience.

^ Maryland speed got me a deal I couldn't refuse. I was going to get the TSP's if they ever come in. After a quick call to maryland speed and less than a $1,000 later I'm awaiting the arrival of a set of 1 7/8 and a 3" ORY.

The merge on the Kooks y pipe is awful. Sure you can get it replaced but that's just more of a hassle. It would be nice to have a quality piece ready to bolt right up.

Are they being made by the last company that made them or someone different? Any tweeks to the design to ensure better fitment?

Same company, but like everything else we do we are making necessary changes as we see fit to make a great product even better!
