Default buller mufflers on headers ? on my drag car?

Looking to reduce weight as much as possible I have the tsp x pipe set up with tsp 17/8 longtubes. Can I just run the mufflers connected to the headers without the x pipe and all that? I don't use my o2 sensors. Will it run fine?

It should run just fine; plenty of people do it, but I think the x-pipe setup sounds amazing.

is it actually tuned for an open loop? if so, i dont see why not...since its a drag car anyway sound isnt a big of an issue hell, why bother with mufflers anyway!...some say X will add some hp\tq...how about running a really short H pipe between the 2 collectors without bullets?

Why not ditch the mufflers. Connect 2 straight pipes with turndowns to the headers (same length as the mufflers) That way it's not quite open headers, but's also not quite Tds either..and it'll be yet alittle lighter.

Open headers with Vibrant race mufflers. Done and done.
