Hey guys/gals,

The Tensioner that runs on the passenger head, upper left, is that the same part for the Fbody, GTO, Truck etc.???

From the few ive seen, never compared them side by side, they look the same??

I need one and am NOT paying 60 bucks for a new one... lol

Truck and f-body are different, dont know about the GTO.

Thanks. Gto is same as fbody. Trying to find one. Didn't wanna spend 60 bucks on a replacement.

Rockauto.com has the Gates Brand for $33.89. That's what I put on mine and had no issues with it. If you have a local Advanced Auto Parts, go to them, see what they want for one and if more tell them the price Rock Auto has and they should match it.

Mine did, They even sold me a new F Body Starter for $89 cause I found one on Ebay for that.

That was O'reilly for the Gates brand

Cheapest ive found, anywhere close to me was 41 bucks from autozone or advanced

Thats the one i bought...

And like i said, If a fellow ls1tech guy was trying to sell one, id give him the time of day before autozone or advance...
