Pacesetter Y-pipe owners come in.
Im having one hell of a time with my true duals and I think im going to say **** it and go ORY. Im just curious how the pacesetter Y-pipes have been fitting for everyone lately. It seemed like they were bad at first then got better recently. Thanks for the input.

Absolutely no problems with mine either. No banging even after I added the dual cutouts.

As you can see, the cutouts took away some clearance, but I'm not complaining.

Damn I dont know what to do. No shop will touch my car that I have talked to because I dont have cats. I think ill take my chances with it and if it bangs just bring the y-pipe itself to the shop to have bent. Any other suggestions? Will a hooker y-pipe fit?

I made an X-pipe setup, and I banged it multiple times the first day driving. The shop that I do all my work at is at a salvage yard and the dirt roads that go to the shop are shitty. I cant live with a setup that I bottom out with all the time.

Mine fit just fine with no fitment issues... everything slipped together nicely and mated right up with my Rumbler catback. The only issue I had was the y-pipe was basically pressed up against the floorboard. To fix it, I just stuck a pry bar in between the pipe and the floorboard and cranked down on it... with my prying it down, I had my friend go around and tighten all the bolts to the bandclamps and the y-pipe stayed pretty much in the same position that I pryed it down at... gave about a 1/4" inch clearance, which is enough that it doesn't bang except under extremely low load (like creeping away from a stop while on a hill).

Glad my Jet Hot isn't the only one that sucks. From my readings, the only folks that are happy, are the ones with custom Y. I'm tryign motor mounts in the near future to see if that will finally solve all my issues.
