Default vacum sensor

Hello,

Have this sensor that was mounted on my ls1 near the fuel rail flex line.

It is not hooked up and I needed to remove it to put an engine cover on.

It never had electric, so that part is easy.

As for the vacum line, I have it disconnected. The engine runs fine, I do feel slight vacum on it when engine running. Do I need to cap it off or can I leave it as is?

where line runs to

and roughly where it sat before it was removed.

thanks for any input.

Fyi that is the solenoid for the air system and that line goes directly to the intake which is why it needs to be capped.
