Default O2 sensor broke off

I have longtubes and my rear o2 sensors have already been deleted. Okay guys I'm not going to explain how this happened, but basically my o2 sensor is broken off. Like i drove over something and it ripped it clean off but it is still screwed in. What are the side effects of driving without an o2 sensor. And another question, are the rear o2 sensors the same as the fronts ones? Plug ins also?

it shouldn't cause your fuses to blow... your faulty misconnected O2 sensor is in correlation with your PCM which in turn should provide you with a SES light. Difference between the front and rear O2's is wiring length.

I would assume it would cause the car to run in open-loop.

open loop? I have heard of it, but not sure what it means. The car seems to run fine though, only one time when i came to a stop it was idling a little high for about five seconds then it fixed itself.

So is it okay to be driving the car missing an o2 sensor?

big time agree!!!! or you could just pull your motor out and donate it to someone before you mess it up big time.
when you say ripped it out, do you mean at the connector along side the body or is the connector still in place and it ripped in the middle?

Here is a pic to clear up the confusion. When I say ripped it off I mean it litterally broke the o2 sensor.

As you can see I already got it fixed but now I have more ?'s

The guy that put the bung in said there was not even an o2 sensor in there where the old one was. So what the hell is up with that?

And as far as the wiring goes it pulled it clean out of the connector, after the extension. So of course I had to buy a new extension.
