Default C6 throttle body question

Will a c6 throttle body work with an ls6?

A buddy of mine is sellin a ported c6 throttle body. And ported fast 102 for an ls2 car. Was wondering if this would work with my c5 z06.

Yes. With a plug and play harness from caspers. I paid 48 bucks for my harness. Getting the fast 102 on is where you will spend all your time. Do you already have an ls2 water pump on the car? I've heard some say even with the hood liner removed, the top of the manifold will tickle the hood. I've never see this though.

What slammedc5 stated, I am using an LS2/C6 TB on my C5Z06 with the caspers harness as well.

Awesome and now im not but my brother has a 102 on his and didnt have to chage the water pump until he went with at 102 tb. Im getting a great deal for everything im getting so even if i have to buy a few extra things its still cheaper than buying new.

Cool. One more thing, you'll have relocate your PVC hose, I drilled and installed mine in the silicone coupling. Here's a pic

good point, I ended up buying 2 feet of vacuum hose to run from the fresh air vent tube off the valve cover to a plastic boss I tapped off the airbridge (after the MAF)

Is his car a c6 or a c5 with a ls2 transplant? I don't know if caspers makes a harness for a c6 to run a c5 throttle body.
Stock ls1/6 fuel rails won't work with the 102

Its a c6 ls2, and he is givin me the complete intake set up, TB, intake and fuel rails. But will the rails work? When i look on vengeance racings site it shows there is an Ls2 specific fuel rail kit for the fast intake.

What im trying to find out is. Is there an adapter plug so he can put my TB on his car? The plug is still different on his car and we cant just swap intakes because he'd still need a 3 bolt tb on his car.
