Default SLP Traction Logic Module Question

Hey guys, I am looking into getting the SLP Traction Logic Module, and I understand how it works and how to install it, but for those who own this module; does the ASR OFF light stay on while the module has it reversed? ie. when I start my car, will that light always be lit on my dash unless I hit the ASR button and turn it "on"? For some reason, that little idiot light really pisses me off, especially at night. I don't think that I could deal with seeing that lit all of the time.

Yes. It just reverses the default "on at start" to "off at start" it changes nothing with the idiot lights.

If it bothers you, just pull your cluster apart and remove the bulb. You may have to solder in a resistor.

I'd personally pass. If you don't instantly start the car, ie not letting the fuel pump prime so to speak, it doesn't work. Save the 60 bucks and use your finger. Like bww said, if it bothers you, remove the bulb. The bulb really isn't bad though. You get used to it.

Alright thanks guys, I'm not going to bother with it. And I am not going to remember to wait with the ignition on before I turn the engine over so there is no point. I'll just keep using my finger.
