For those who have these y-pipes that replace the stock ones: did it really make your car perform better on the 1/4 mi? or any other performance or sound changes? thanks.

there is pretty much no gain w/ a new Y pipe unless its accompianied by some mids/lt's.

I noticed an exhaust note change after I swapped to mine.
A bit deeper & boomier (though still quiet relative to about
any aftermarket setup).

I have the stocker and a 3" Y in my living room right now.
My stocker's crush is heinous. It looks downright silly next
to a 3" Y pipe.

As far as a power adder though I never felt anything
noteworty from it, and if wishful post-install butt-o-meter
testing doesn't indicate a gain, it's got to be pretty weak.

I concur, when I did this back in 2000 it only changed the exhaust note.

There is a change in sound with a minimal boost in traceable power (1-3 HP).
