Default Loose Kooks merge spike

I noticed a rattle coming from my engine compartment at different rpms. I got the car up on a lift and found by hitting the header with a rubber mallet I could hear the rattling coming from the Kooks 1 7/8's collector area, so it must be that the welded merge spike has come loose. Anybody else ever have this problem? I installed the damn headers in January, they have less than 3k miles on them. I was going to call Kooks and see what they'd do about it but wanted to ask are they really worth having? Should I pull off the Y and just remove the merge spike if it's loose? The car is a 430+rwhp car.

I'd definately take off the Y and snap a few pics inside the collector. Call Kooks and email them the pics. At least give them the chance to see the issue and make it right. I sure as **** would want them; They do help, and that's what you paid for.
