92mm TB to a ls6 intake?
i have both the intake and a throttle body, i was wondering if there were a way to bolt the 2 together, i heard rumors about an adapter that someone makes, but had no luck finding it.
would i be better off just leaving the stock size throttle body?
i really dont want to spend 900 on a fast 92mm intake.

This is the adapter you're talking about. Made by CBM
You'd be better off either sending a stock TB to Mark Shaner, or ponying up and getting the FAST. The size of the TB isn't going to change anything. That adapter alone is 79 bucks.
A TPIS modified LS6 is 350 I believe, and that's the price to send in YOURS. You're better off selling the LS6 intake you already own and finding a 92 used. Hell, yesterday there was a brand new 92 in the classifieds for 750 shipped.....

good point. it was moreso just the fact that i already own the 92mm throttle body, so i figured, why not use it. but if its going to more cost effective to pick up a used 92mm intake, then obviously ill do that.

Imo, the only logical way to run a victor Jr n/a is with a 4150 tb, not an elbow. Elbows kill flow and starve the front cylinders. There are people makinp good power with elbows, but not like they would with a 4150.
I would hang on to the 92mm tb and pick up a used stock tb for now. Then if/when you move up to a fast, you already have it. I don't see it hurting anything to run the adapter, but you certainly won't gain anything noticeable unless the stock tb is choking your plentm.

The only gain you may see, which may fool your mind butt dyno, would be the throttle response. And that's it. I'd bet that a dyno would show maybe 3-5hp difference. Not worth it, IMO.. The TB Bypass frees up more power than that.
Save for the FAST 92.
