Default LS6 non EGR intake

How do you go about getting EGR and putting it on a 2001 non EGR LS6 intake? Also did EVERY SINGLE 2001 corvette come with an LS6 intake? No way they could have an LS1 intake?

SLP sells an LS6 intake that comes with the hardware and fittings for the EGR tube.

Lingenfelter makes a piece to adapt EGR to an LS6 intake (http://www.lingenfelter.com/lingenfe...16&pf%5Fid=470). And yes, all 2001+ LS1s have the LS6 intake.

Woah! 150 bucks for that adapter, if you even consider that route it would prob be cheaper to just sell the ls6 intake and buy SLPs LS6 intake

I pulled the egr system from my 2000 SS and plugged the hole in the intake manifold with one of those round plugs found in the plumbing section of your hardware store. It's a simple plug, with a rubber grommett being sandwiched by two washer-like pieces, making the rubber expand in all directions. I found the right size, stuck the plug in there, and tightened the wing nut on the plug GENTLY so I wouldn't risk cracking the intake manfold.
