Exclamation 1 3/4 header Y pipe to 1 7/8 and duals on 370ci?

Any idea if it's in my best interest to swap headers and go to a dual setup?

I've seen plenty of threads on tuned length headers, stepped headers, 1 3/4 vs 1 7/8. I would like to see what you guys say about swapping. (Please note that I'm only talking to those of you who run 11's and quicker on 4" bore motors or high power 346's etc).

Anyone in here who has not had experience with a 1 7/8 header vs 3/4 but insists on putting their 2 cents on my thread is not welcome.

I want to see where you guys picked up power, and i wanna see where you guys lost power. If this was just a header swap I'd search more, but I'm re-doing my whole exhaust.

Just about 3 weeks ago I went from 1 3/4 pacesetters to 1 7/8s ARH big difference in cost but the arhs are the nicest headers ive ever seen, they went in 10 times easier then the pacesetters came out. the car dynod at 443 with the pacesetters the first run with the arhs was 436 untill i pulled the air filter out and proped the lid open with it and stuck a fan in front of the car then it went to 450. keep in mind the 443 run vs the 450 run were months apart weather was different and all that crap but thats my 2 cents on headers i do not have true duals tho

I'm gonna go ahead and step up to a 4" cutout before i do anything else. If it provides me a good enough gain ill go with a fast 92 and go from there. My Torque curve comes in real early and i just want to get an extra push

I would absolutely run a 1 7/8" header on a 370ci motor. Swap the intake out for a Fast and you'll be good to go.

Im doing a swap from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 right now on my H/C car. Touch up tune will be done on same dyno, same tuner. Not expecting a big peak increase if any...but if I can get a better curve ill be happy.

Headers are both Kooks also.
