Default want an ls6intake does it fit an ls1

Just heard I cud swap my ls1 manifold with an ls6 is it easy to install my self and any good places to buy it from that some one might know

Yes it will fit. They are on sale on here all the time. Wait and look around for one. They are not hard to put on, but if you are not mechanically inclined, find someone else to do it. They shouldn't charge too much to install it. Car will need tuned afterwards though..You can get a mail order tune from Frost..

Default intake swap

im not too sure about easy swap. i had read somewhere that you had to modify some parts of the ls6 intake. like grinding off some parts and stuff. not sure if it was to put on a 5.3 or for the ls1. my thoughts are the ls1 should be a direct swap with no mods but im not sure... just look around and ask some more..

not hard, just be carefull and do not pench the knock sensor wires, be carefull with the vacum connectors on the back of the intake, ypu will need to grind a little under the intake OR get the cooling pipes WHICH GO under the intake for the LS6
