p0300 after racing a shelby
this afternoon a new shelby pulled up next to me and wanted to race so we did well he was staying right there i must have gotten nervous because when i went for 5th i hit reverse the car just died. I slowed down started the car, but i noticed a slight shake, i was only 5miles from home so i kept going got home the check engine light was on.
i have a scan gauge and it said p0300? and i can smell fuel when i rev it up, i reset the pcm like i read on a few fourms and did nothing, checked plugs they seem good. I have new set of msd wires on the car 2 months old i am stumped any help?

I threw a plug wire once, and got the flashig SES but
the misfire code was cylinder specific.
Now pumping the motor hard backwards might have
some unusual results. Like overpressurizing the intake
if the throttle is closed. I'd check for normal-appearing
sensor readings (like the MAP sensor didn't blow out of
the hole) and vacuum leaks (cracks).
