Default Need help with my SLP lid

Hey everyone. I'm currently running an SLP lid on my forged Ls1 with heads/cam. Is it restricting my power significantly? I currently have an LS1 intake manifold and plan on getting an LS6 one this summer. I have buddies running SLP lids on their T/A's pushing 500 off the bottle though. So, my question is, should I invest in a cold air intake such as a Volant one or some other company? What kind of gains are there to be made for a $250-$400 lid?

IMO No, you're good. I'd stick with your SLP lid and add a S.S.R.A..

Stock MAF doesn't begin to become a restriction until around 450rwhp, so the lid is fine. Same one I have on my car.

your ls1 intake is more of a restriction than your lid. spending more money on a lid isnt going to net you alot more power in the long run.Id agree with 99Bluz28, if you want better air spend a little money on the SSRA.
