No More KR !
Ordered my AMW oil catch can today. It looks like a nice piece. Im tired of dealing with the oil in the intake. I put some seafoam thru motor last week and now no more knock retard. It must have been the oil contamination. The AMW piece looks like it will do a pretty good job. Im also going to get the metco breather!

I installed my AMW catch can on the front of the passenger side head. I fabricated my own mounting bracket. I got this idea from another member. The AMW catch can is top quality !

The AMW catch can comes with the black bracket, that allows you to mount there catch can almost anywhere. Personally I like the idea of mounting the catch on the head, here's the bracket I came up with.

I too got a bracket from Dark Age...
His bracket is so nice, I clearanced my Katech piece, instead of
the bracket.
After 2 weeks of driving, & one day at the dragstrip, my
can is clean, no oil, no nothing...

Dave, Do you think the new design ( one pictured above ) would have worked better in your case, the old design wouldn't with the Katech or work on Corvettes, so I came up with this design. Glad it all worked out for you.

real stupid question but ive been thinking about getting one and what the hell do you do. pull the intake and check if oil has been being sucked up in there? clean it out hook up the catch can and then what. what exactly does it do? i know it doesnt allow contaminated oil that gets in the intake back into the motor so do you have to empty it and how often. how does it work? vacuum ? please enlighten me

your PCV valve has to circulate thru the catch can with it installed and stops oil from passing into your intake manifold by means of your PCV system. you can look thru your throttle body and see all the oil that gets by. mine looks like the exxon valdez crashed into my TB , i need one bad.
