Default Deleting PVC

Would it hurt to get rid of vacuum hoses on valve covers and replace with vents/filters ?

Its my understanding (and anyone is welcome to correct me on this) that a vacuum on the crankcase helps with longevity and slightly on horsepower.

Its always better to have negative pressure in the crank case. Especially in a street driven car. Its best to run with a good PCV system over breathers because breathers tend to leak, drip and make a mess of your engine. They also tend to do a poor job keeping up with crank case pressure. Especially after getting fouled with oil. And negative crank case pressure DOES increase horsepower by helping ring seal and preventing the pistons from fighting against the pressure. Even high end race engines have a true PCV system using vacuum pumps or evac kits on the exhaust system.

negative pressure in the crank case dose help with hp,reduces crank case pressure and can help with with ring seal.

Do the '04 LS6 PCV conversion. It's less than $100 and removes the majority of tubes.

I did the 04 ls6 PCV combine with a catch can on my c5 and my intake and throttle body are 100% dry. And it looks a lot better too (even though mines hidden by the fuel rail covers lol)
