Default Duals Vs 4" single

I have looked at some options for my new 422 stroker and I'm leaning towards a single 4" with a nice collector Vs. trues duals through and X pipe.
Plus I'd like to have an over the axle set up with my Corsa tips welded on.
Any thoughts on my delema?

4" Mufflex. Use a different muffler than the ones offered.

4" Single. Use a 4" single in/out Borla or Magnaflow or something that performs nice, then if you really want tips you can always use a Flowmaster 3"-4" Y-pipe to make a 2otl style exit with 2 3" pipes.

He's really on to something.

My 380ci made the same HP through my single 4" Mufflex with a Magnaflow as it made through dual 3" cutouts, and 20+ more rwtq through the first half of the dyno sheet. The Magnaflow picked up about 10 peak hp over the flowmaster and was 7db quieter.

I would go with the 4" system
I ran duals for a while and got tired of the aweful interior noise, fitment, etc
or you can save some money and use a 3" ypipe, 3-4" flowmaster Y-collector, 4" cutout and taper down to a typical 3" system or factory catback
that way its quiet around town, and makes 4" power with the cutout open
Im going this route, except with a 3.5" cutout and stock SS muffler
