Question Cut-out Question?

I just ordered a TSP Rumbler and FLowtech 3" cut-out. If the cut-out is closed will it be hurting the performance of my car compared to if I just had the TSP rumbler. I mean will it cause some turbulence in the exhaust flow and hurt performance while closed and make my exhaust not sound as nice while coming out the back???

I would guess that any turbulence caused by the cutout would be minimal. Where is Hull at? Are you going to the Midwest F-body gathering on 6/12?

Hull is the way way NW corner. I doubt I will be going unless anybody else around here goes which is like only 5 ls1's in a 40 mile radius

Anybody else got an idea of cut-out closed hurting sound tone or performance?

Hey slick

To answer your question Cutout closed does not change the sound or performance of your car, unless it leaks which is very notorious with cutouts then yeah it will change the sound. A little bead of high temp RTV can fix that though.

I doubt it I'll ever make it to the Hull, OC, Sheldon area. I might come up to the Fort Dodge area sometime for a few car shows so if you want to meet there and hear it in person your more than welcome to.

No problem Chris just make sure you come to the Cruise to the Woods or any of the other Fort Dodge car shows
