TSP True Dual w/ Sweet Thunder
Need some opinions on the exhaust system im looking at. Im looking to order a whole new Exhaust this week. Heres what i was looking at.
PaceSetter 1-3/4" LT Headers
TSP 304 Stainless Steel True Duals.
Sweet Thunder 18" 2.5" Core. 3 inlet 3 outlet.
Post pics of your true dual setup and give me some opinions on this setup. I want loud but i still want a good exhaust sound. Let me know what you think!

that was my set up exactly, before i changed it, the sweet thunders keep it somewhat tame but its still plenty loud. I had tail pipes made because i couldnt stand the two empty exhaust cut outs in the back of the trans ams. mine wasnt stainless and i added dual cut outs to the X which led to some leaks and eventually it got so bad that it was fouling my O2s and making the car smell so i had the X and cut outs taken off and replaced with an H pipe. Someone asked me for a picture the other day as i referred to my duals so if i remember ill try to get a picture up after work today.

I ordered the TSP TD kit in SS last week, will have installed in a few days. Why not keep the bullets that come with it? Heard they're good. Do the Sweet Thunders come in stainless as well?

The bullets are good mufflers for sure! But the sweet thunders have a sound that is unmatched with these TD. They sound absolutely amazing! And yes the have aluminized and stainless.

Nothing sweet about the sound of sweet thunders??? You're crazy. But everyone is intitled to their opinion. Im definitly not getting a $400 exhaust with $30 mufflers that just dosnt make any sense... everyone ive talked to say this is the best performance and sounding exhaust out there for my car for the price it is. I know theres better GMMG, Hooker etc. but im not trying to spend $1000+ on an exhaust.

The bullet's that came on my Texas Speed true duals sounds ****. Not sure how they do it now, but back then, you had three options in regards to mufflers. Sweet Thunders, bullets, and I can't remember what the 3rd option was, but it was the quietest of the three.

LS2 heads, 3.73 rear, 92mm intake and tune. Getting new TC this week then cam. Then spraying 100 on the car right before summer! I'll keep ya posted on the progress and I'll put up a vid of the exhaust after I put it on!
