Single magnaflow with single exit 3"?
I'm working on switching my exhaust because of crappy dyno #'s lol. So am I going to loose my cam idle sound with a single 3" outlet? Going to LT's ory. From stock with 40 flowmaster dual exits.Thanks.

With you going to LT headers and ORY-pipe your exhaust will be louder, so even with a quieter single in/out Magnaflow muffler you'll still hear your cam idle sound. IMO, if you want to keep the exhaust loud then you'll want a shorter, smaller outside diameter round muffler like a Magnaflow#14419, or Dynomax#24219.
If you're wanting a oval muffler then, look at the Borla #40934, QTP #12300, Magnaflow #11219, for a slightly quieter oval muffler look at the Hooker Maximum Flow #21606HKR, and Dynomax Ultra Flo Welded #17220. All of these are high flow 3" center in/out and stainless steel except the Hooker Max Flow # 21606HKR which is aluminized steel.

Sounds like you'll want something just a little quieter than I originally thought.
I'd go with a oval muffler Like the Borla #40944, QTP AR3 # 12300, or Magnaflow #12219
The QTP is a all stainless steel version of the Dynatech Split-Flow.

Sorry, but I have no idea where the crazy suggestion of using a 8" round muffler came from; not from me. None of the mufflers I recommended are a 8" diameter round muffler for the stock location, they're all oval for the obvious reason of better fitment from a larger selection of mufflers.
