Default Electric cut out

Hello everyone. I have a 1999 Camaro with no cats and I have dual cat back exhaust. Since I have dual exhaust should I put two electric cut outs or one? I will be putting Catalytic converters back on because I'm moving to California. Do I go under the car and measure the exhaust pipe width to determine what size y pipe to get ?

If I were you, I'd wait until you get the exhaust revised
and your smog check passed. No point in doing anything
to the present exhaust.

Problem is Cali wants stock location for cats and that
means your cutout will be after them, meaning not too
effective.

Still need info to know if I can put one electric cutout or should their be two. With dual catback. Cutouts are going before the cats no matter what anyone says, including emissions. DO I go underneath and measure width of pipes for the y pipe.

Measure Y-Pipe. A low profile cutout will work with 2 1/2"-3" pipe.
