Default Which is more beneficial, FTRA kit open or sealed?

I was just wondering which worked better, the Fast Toys ram air kit with the seal in the hole below the air lid or without it. In other words, what has more ram air induction, the SS hood and air from the ram air kit or just air from the ram air kit? What do you think or has this been proven already? Thanks.

The SS hood ram air is a joke. Once I had my FTRA installed, I sealed that hole off and have never had a problem. I can't say how much I benefited from it because I did multiple mods at that time.
