Question HELP with longtube install!!!

I got my stock headers off, only the dipstick is still in, i tugged at it a bit and pretty hard too, but didn't want to snap anything off. can someone please tell me how this thing is on there, bolt's off and it's loose. i heard people usin this or that to pull it out, but i just want to know what it's actually holding on to, and what the easiest way to get that **** out would be. i'd really appreciate any input, thanks guys.

Some people have said either pull on it or pry it out with a screw driver.....just what i've heard as i haven't done a header install myself.

Dude. I had a hell of a time with mine too. Remember its got a o-ring there too. I had to play with mine (gently!) for 15 minutes or more, then right when I was about to start making up new profanity, It came right out. It just takes care a paitence. Dont get frustrated and bust it.

Just wait till you have to put it back in. You will have the same issue. cant find the hole, cant find the hole, then pop! it will go right in.

I know i left my self open for many jokes there.

Good luck

get someone from the top moving it around and pulling up and then go under the car and grab the bottom of it, then it will pop right out. It just takes a little bit of force (not too much though)

Mine was hard to get off as well.. But after unbolting, moving it around and pulling up on it, it came right out.
