Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an answer on my subject line. I'm doing a budget lq4 build and would like to use the ls1 4 corner steam port on with the LS2 intake I already have. Has anyone else done this? I know that in order to use the LS6 intake, you need to trim some of the ribbing on the bottom and was wondering if something like that would be necessary for the LS2 intake as well.

I searched around for a while with no luck getting an answer to that specific question. Lots of people saying to stay away from the LS2 intake but no answers.

Got a few bottom views. By picture only, it looks like you might be able to make it without seeing it in person, I cannot say for sure. Betting on some of the ribs need to come out.

Also in before someone says "Why waste your time with that garbage, drop $1200 on a FAST setup".........

I was not even able to get the 4 corner tube under my LS6 like others have after I ground the **** out of it. I have some of the type with the 2 block offs and the front tube laying around I can sell pretty reasonable. I know what it's like to be on a budget. If your interested, pm me.

I appreciate the offer rpturbo, but I already have the ones that you are referring to from my LQ4. Good to know that info about the ls6 intake though.

I finally got a 4 corner LS1 steam port to try and even with shaving the LS2 intake it will not fit. In case anyone else may find this helpful.
