S15 Cam with ORY or TrueDuals with Turn Downs .....
I really want to go with a Cam , but am also currently a bit strapped for money.
So I may have to hold off on getting a Cam for a little while
But this brings me to my question, and that is ..... Could I go ahead now, and Put on a set of LT headers ( TSP 1 7/8 ), with straight pipe leading into TurnDowns just before the axle .This setup here......
http://www.texas-speed.com/p-372-tex...true-dual.aspx
If I go with this kind of setup now, and then later get a Cam , will I have to do a complete re-do of this exhaust setup
or will it be as simple as continuing running the piping " Over " the axle from where the TurnDowns initially were ?
With a Cam, is it best to have an ORY or are TrueDuals just as good ?
Thanks for the input and advice.
Just don't want to go spending a good bit of money on an exhaust, that I'll have to completely tear out and re-do once I get a Cam
Thanks again

The true duals will always make more power. The only down side is the noise if they are dumped. If you decide to go with a y pipe set up. Make sure to get a y pipe with a really good merge (flow master). It will make more power and will not have the terrible rasp that most y pipe set ups do. Depending on budget, you could get the kooks true dual system. It is a work of art and sounds great.

I also vote for true duals. I run them with a healthy heads/cam/full-bolt-on setup, and I love the way it sounds. It is loud, but some really like loud. If you ever wanted to quiet it down some, you could always throw on some Magnaflow mufflers and run the exhaust out the back.

Thanks for all of the replies
As far as mufflers go , what about going with Morso Spirals ?
I may get Turn Downs for the time being and put some DynaMat in my car to help with the noise
And I'd love to get the kooks true dual system ,
but may hold off on getting it for now.
Likely to get 1 7/8 headers , with cut-outs just past the )2 sensors and then do Turn Downs
I really want to get a Cam ( the S15 ) hopefully by the end of the year
Just want to make sure that the setup I go with now, will be able to accommodate the Cam
There is a member on here who has the S15 cam , 1 7/8 LTs and an ORY
and his car is one of the best I've heard on a WS6

SI5 Cam with the Texas Speed Stainless Steel Rumbler Bullet True Dual
Along with the SI5 cam from SpeedInc ,
I am also thinking of putting on the following TrueDual set from TSP......
http://www.texas-speed.com/p-372-tex...true-dual.aspx
My question is,
can I put 3 inch piping in place of the Dual Bullet Mufflers that come with the set ?
And what would be the pros and cons of doing so ?
Will having no Mufflers increase the sound by much ?
Thanks for the input
