Yeah I noticed my car not popping and shooting out flames as much anymore and here is probably why lol!
Shouldn't my car have an LS6 valley cover being an 02? I taped it for now until I can get a new one here.

Not pretty but it's fixed! I saw the LS6 valley conversion. Since I have an 02 do I need to worry about cutting my block? Also does capping the valve covers suffice or should I buy different covers?

It depends some 02 cars had an als6 block others didnt. By the looks of it I THINK you do. can you take a pic f the block under the tb between the heads? There is a shiny part in front of the heads on the block, going up from that towards the valley there are 2 flat spots, one on each side. If its flat then its an ls6 blck (99% of the time) if it hasa bullseye its an ls1. either way cutting block isnt hard at all
