Default LOSS of power after headers

Just put some LT headers on my 99 z28 6 speed car with a 3 inch cat less wye pipe. I do not have a tune on the car yet but I will be getting on next week. The car us missing between 4000 and 6000 rpms at WOT. I want to make sure that I don't have another problem before taking it to the tuner. Thanks for any Input..

A tune should fix all that.

Did you change the spark plugs?

The rear O2 sensors only gauge the efficiency of the catalytic converters. They have no bearing on how the PCM controls the engine-which is why they can be tuned out.

Check for a cracked spark plug with misfire checks on a scanner.

LS1 Fbod plugs are a bitch to service. I cracked the #8 taking it out when I did LTs. You might have cracked one putting em in.

Also check that none of your wires are touching or are too close to the headers. The can get burned and start arching.

I bet its a cracked plug, loose plug wire, or make sure your o2 sensor wires are not touching a header tube and burned up. Check the "ENG" fuse under the hood also
