Default Exhaust idea...

Not sure if anyone has done it but I'm looking to do Aerican Racing LT's, true dual setup into a GMMG chambered exhaust. Oh and no cats. How do you guys think that sounds. I currently have BBK LT's into a 2.5" ORY and a SLP LM1 with no cats. Love it but just want something different. Let me know if anyone has done it or thoughts on it. Thanks.

id do true duals to the axle and i know the exhaust merges into a Y so id plan on cutting that off and have each pipe run into eachother.

Basically you are looking to do true duals with chambered powersticks as mufflers.

Chambered mufflers with headers and no cats is LOUD.

I think most Y-pipe setups sound meh, and I have true duals with bullets, but chambered true duals is the only setup that has sounded better to me on an LS1 IMO.

But it is very loud. Not open header loud, but a solid 8/10 where open headers is 10/10 volume.

I'd consider adding cats if it was a daily driver.

You can run two 24in chambered mufflers after a X or H pipe before the axle then two 18in out the back with your tip's of choice

Your welcome. This is By far the best sounding and performing system this car has ever had and its had alot of them.

The madhammer should be a nice sounding system. Why no cats? I have to have them, i cant stand the smell, getting old i guess.

Just think it sounds a bit meaner without them and yea it does smell but just love the sound. I'm pushing 30 so I'm getting there ha! But again thanks man, would love to hear a flyby but I know that's asking a lot.

I'm doing this setup as well..

Speed Engineering 1 7/8 Longtubes
Speed Engineering modified Ypipe (use for inlet into X)
Magnaflow "spun" cats (short/small cats)
Xpipe section 3"
Two 18"-20" long chambered powersticks
Dumped at the axle

Should sound mean, loud and just down right evil

You ll enjoy it. I know I do lol.
Pace setter headers, no cats or x pipe.
Each header goes into a chambered stick muffler & dumped at the axle.
I ll be going back to add a x pipe before the mufflers and make it look a lil better.
