1 7/8" kooks
I am putting a new motor in my car, 232/236 .574/.578 112 lsa LS6 stage 2 heads, 11.6 to 1 pistons. I currently have mac headers, should I go with a set of 1 7/8" long tubes or would 1 3/4" long tubes be ok? I don't think the mac's are gonna cut it after the install!!! Thanks in advance.

1 3/4 would work fine in most stock cube aplications. However if you plan to use a cam and head package that will see alot of RPM, or plan to make more mods I would look into 1 7/8. Kooks 1 7/8 is a great header to grow into, and the only thing it may hurt for now is SOME low end torque. If your looking for a set let me know!!

Let me put it to you how it was put to me. 1 3/4" will give you a bit more low end and TQ will peak higher, 1 7/8" will lose some low end, gaining a little more HP on the high end.
So, i bought the Stepped 1 3/4" into 1 7/8" headers
