Default Vacuum Line Help

Hi Guys,

During my rebuild last summer I had removed the vacuum lines and Coolant lines early on from the intake manifold. Unfortunately the previous owners didn't seem to care and those rubber hoses were so dry that they broke when I disconnected them. Does anyone have any links to some place I can buy replacements? or can I get by without connecting them? The reason I ask is because I removed my EGR as well so I didn't know if those vacuum hoses were there for the EGR. I would really appreciate your help.

Coolant lines from the intake manifold? What year and engine is this car?

Sorry not coolant lines, I misunderstood what I was reading. I am referring to the PCV line. all my rubber fittings that joined them together were rotted. I ended up just using other adapters to take care of it. But its a 2000 Trans Am.

If this car has a bunch of miles on it, it might be worth it to pull the intake manifold. You'd be surprised how much gunk builds up in the intake and ports from a bad PCV system. Or the stock LS1 PCV system, which really sucks.

Consider spending a day doing the LS6 PCV upgrade.
