How many times have you re-used old stock bolt to seat pulley?

Everytime you remove the bolt, you have a bolt that has only been used once. It always gets replaced with an new one so the next time you remove that bolt, it has only been used once. What am I missing here?
And I use the installer tool to install the pulley, but use the old bolt to seat the pulley.

2xls1 -- that is true -- but some of us have done things so many times that we have drawers full of old parts "just in case". So you grab one -- maybe it was used once, maybe twice, maybe...well you get the point.

I think all this "Dont use an old bolt" stuff is a bunch of crap. I've used old bolts more times than I can count to seat pulleys, and ZERO problems...
Hell, i've got an OLD bolt in my car right now, seated the pulley, and then just let it there. 10K miles later and no problems

I'm only referring to seating the pulley, not using it as the final holding fastener.
I have the ARP re-useable bolt as the final torque holding fastener after the pulling has been seated.
A TTY should NEVER be reused as the final torque holding fastener.

To seat the pulley?
About 25 times.
I have an old stock bolt that I cut the shoulders off, and I lent/rented the pulley tools and that bolt a bunch of times over the last four years.

I've done it many times, but I wouldn't recommend using a stock bolt to install a pulley anymore. If you ever strip the threads inside your crankshaft you will be crying!
Get the threaded rod/installer type tool, it even works much better. I can fully seat a pulley onto the crank with hand tools when using the installer rod tool.
