Thumbs up No more "Y" pipe banging

Everytime I grabbed 2nd gear my Y pipe would bang the hell out of the under carrige, but since I swapped out my non adjustable Edelbrock torque arm for a adjustable trans mount Spohn torque arm the banging is gone. So if you have the chronic "Y" pipe banging problem this could be a fix for you too.

I suppose everytime you shifted hard the trans would lift a little since the TA was mounted on that side. Thanks for the info...it's definately something to consider...a better TA and no banging...

I am putting my money on the poly motor mount I just installed. We'll see how that works out.

Let me know how those work out and if you get much engine vibration from them.

Thumbs up

Joe, glad to hear the new TA is working. However, I'm real happy with your old Edelbrock
By the way, my other parts got here today, don't know if I can wait until you get back

Just FYI, but my banging issues remained largely unchanged after going from stock to BMR adjustable torque arm...
