Worthless or Not
I have a few questions?
1.I have LM exhaust, will high flow cats and new Y pipe help with stock manafolds.
2.Has anyone used a VR velocity stack instead of a ported throttle body
3.Smooth Bellow...Worthless $50?
4. Are all the after market Mass Airflow sensors the same because the SLP one is a lot cheeper.
Thanks

I wouldn't mess with the velocity stack or an aftermarket MAF. Save your money and put it toward something more useful... the only intake mods that are generally viewed as worthwhile are the aftermarket air lid, cold air induction, ported throttle body, and LS6 manifold (if you have a '98-'00). The smooth bellows is a good appearance mod, but don't buy it if you're looking for a performance mod...

Stock cats drop a lot more pressure than the
RT high-flows, by my measurements. If you
went with the RT cat / Y-pipe combo with
stock late manifolds, this would give you some
real flow improvement (though a stock-cats
Y alone is generally thought to be negligible,
the RT pieces are all 3" and the cats are the
big relief). You might want to go for the 2000
model year manifolds as these should be cheap
and better than the '98-'99, but plumbed for
the EGR and AIR ('01-'02 are same casting but
the EGR bung is undrilled).
