Default Clearance PICS of Kook's LT's/Catted Y pipe lowered on Eibach Pro Kit...

This question comes up a lot, so I thought people might be interested. There is better overall clearance on the passengers side, but I think that's normal with all LT setups. No Y pipe banging, im very pleased. Im pretty careful about speedbumps/potholes, but so far no scraping at all. Remember my car is lowered.

Yeah, the pro kit sits pretty low. I've been pretty careful going over speedbumps and have yet to scrape.

I just installed my Pro Kit and something underneath keeps scraping on the most insignificant stuff... its the bracket that comes off the quarter panel right in front of the door with the two bolts in it facing outwards... its driving me bonkers, it got scraped kinda hard one time and flexed the body panel it was connected to! I had to fix things with a hammer underneath to get the panel flush again. Is there a way to bend this up or something? plz help...

IMO that's some pretty good clearance. I used to have a Y-pipe with dual cutouts on it for my LT1 and it had maybe 2-2.5" of clearance.

i have a pro kit with stock manifolds and y pipe and that p.o.s flat y pipe hits off of everything. It looks like you have more clearance than i do. Thanks for posting, I will be getting this same set up I hope.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

jpd244: It's a great setup up, it's definitely worth the extra cash for Kook's products, top notch quality and fitment. Good luck...

Will longtubes affect emissions? AKA, I live in VA, would I still be able to pass (I've still got the stock cats on)?
