Default Help! Power steering leak

Heard a new groan from the car today, so I checked it out. I found I was low on power steering fluid, and found a nice puddle under the car. Topped it off, started the engine, then checked again. No puddle. Turned the wheel from stop to stop and a new puddle appeared on the driver's side. I don't see any indication of a leak at the reservoir, but it's hard to see. Any ideas on how I can diagnose/fix this?

If I need to take it to a shop, can I top off the reservoir and drive it, or do I run the risk of causing serious damage?

Thanks.

I had a small leak for a while and never did seem to lose fluid, but then I was driving down the road and boom saw smoke coming out of the drivers side of the engine. Stopped and there was a large puddle of fluid. Drove it for about 6-7 miles back home. The power steering pressure hose finally gave. Got a replacement from AC Delco $36.00( Dealer wanted $98 ) and rented a pully puller from Autozone and fixed my problem in 30 minutes.

Looks like the pressure line is the culprit for me too. I started the car and had my wife turn the wheel left and right, while I watched for a leak. As soon as she started turning the wheel in either direction, fluid dribbled down the pressure line and onto the floor. Unfortunately, nobody seems to keep this part in stock locally, so I'm stuck ordering it.
