Pros&Cons of POLY MOTOR MOUNTS
My 230/227 .591/.571 has been in for almost 10,000 miles and has work the hell out of my stock mounts. My Jet Hot headers, which are a tight fit to begin with, rub on the k-member anytime i go more than half throttle. Would new poly m.m. solve my problems. BTW headers didn't bang this much before cam or when it was new. Thanks for the low-down.

etc., etc.
Engine mounts will solve it if engine roll is your problem.
Lot of people grind on the K-member for extra room.
Since you have to jack the motor a bit to do this swap
(which is a time consuming pain in the ***) you may
want to do both if you have a die grinder and a burr
that will get to where you need it.

about that k-member, i've grinded it alittle past where it becomes double walled, maybe 3/4" just the contour of the primaries though. My concern is if i grind it to much will it weaken my member?

There's a lot of steel there and I think another strategically
removed 1/4" wouldn't hurt much. If you saw how scrawny
the aftermarket ones are, you wouldn't be worried at all.
