Default Electric cut out?

I have the QTP cutout what wire do I use to hook up for the power for the cutout? my car is a 01 m6

I beleive you have to splice into a wire to leech the power. I think you have several choices though. Do a search to find some more info.

I tapped into hot wires to the extra power supply.

Here's a tip.

Make sure it works before you mount it under the car. It's a lot easier to diagnose the switch and measure closing/opening time with the unit in your hand than installed in the exhaust system. Mine had a loose connection in the switch and didn't work.

I installed an on/off switch and power the unit through it. Hit the on switch and the unit has power. I didn't like the idea of having power to the unit 100 percent of the time.

I also thread-locked the screws and sealed the unit with silicone sealant.

i used the traction control switch....i think its the pink or purple wire....

you are going to have so much fun with it...

i never get tired of playing with my QTP electric cutout..lol
