Default LT header owners please help

tybyrne is offering an awesome deal on dynatech headers...does anyone know anything about these? fitment and quality issues? they seem like an awesome price for a whole package...help me out...also someone said that they're not grott style? I have a gmmg exhaust is that going to be a problem? what header setup with cats would you guys recommend for a gmmg setup?

The are basically the same design as FLP's. Helped a buddy install a set on his 01 Z28. They looked to be good quality and they are stainless steel. Had to remove the oil filter to get driver side header in, other than that....no real issues to speak of.

No they're not the classic Grott style header that is a proven long tube F-body header design with a long history of great street and track performance.
If you want those you should go with the QTPs (highly recommended) that also have a far superior Y pipe design than the others.

LS1LT1....you're not biased to QTP's are ya? I'm with you all the way on SS but I'm partial to Kooks myself. Even tho they're the same damn thing LOL. Have a set of Kooks in the garage waitin for my car to get back from the shop.

Me biased? Naahh. There are just certain elements about the QTPs that I like a whole lot, mainly the superior Y pipe/merge and the availability of High Velocity Merge Collectors.
And the price, the base headers are still cheaper than some others and Barry does offer some good sales (like the current one going on) and/or free gifts from time to time as well.

I just got the QTPs on sale. Less money than the kooks and a ss ory.
